So … below i will tell you HOW TO INSTALL YOUR LOGITECH INTERNET NAVIGATOR KEYBOARD drivers (iTouch) on Windows 2003 Server (aka Win2003) …

noah … i’ve had my Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard for about 2 years now …
(actually 2 and a half)
and i passed on to Windows 2003 Server … which is faster , smarter , safer , nicer , better , more configurable than any other Windows until now …
so … my keyboard drivers didn’t work …
oh well … google it …
i haven’t found much …
at last i installed the drivers using the Windows Compatibility Mode (set to win2000) …
ok … all worked fine …
but then the drivers wouldn’t start
i set the iTouch.exe & iTouchcf.exe for the Win2000 compatibility mode …
ok … they started …
ok … all good …
The Media Center on the keyboard worked just fine …
But all the other keys didn’t work (including the scroll wheel) …
When i pushed them , the First Button Push (First Try) window appeared …
i clicked Try it now (with the “Do not show this again” checkbox checked) …
but it kept appearing …
when i moved the wheel (every time) it appeared …
so … what to do ?
oh i know …
let’s delete the First_Button_Use folder …
that was a huge failure …
the windows kept popping and it was empty (the html was of course missing because i deleted it …)
i tried to integrate my keyboard under linux but … it was using a LOT of resources so i backed off …
so .. back on windoze …
objective : the registry …
search search search …
until i found the FirstUse key here :
[HKEY_USERS\My admin id-500\Software\Logitech\iTouch\FirstUse]
ok … from here it’s simple
just insert blank strings into this key …
these ones :
(exported with regedit … sorry about the quality …)

and .. you’re all set … no more popups and you can use your logitech internet navigator keyboard FULLY …
hope this helped the other people that were searching for answers …
mail me if it worked on your computer too …
